Every single one of my classes is either honors or AP except for Photography, which is Honors Option. And riding is my PE, yay!!! I so excited! ONLY about that part though, lol. I'm STILL trying to finish all my summer homework for AP Bio...i have 13 handwritten pages written out of work, and I'm NOT DONE!

I have something like 12 frees per week...pretty standard at my school. The nice thing is when you have 1st or 1st and 2nd period free, because then you can come in as late as 9:20...wooo I'll find out if I have any of those when I register

Omg, I am overwhelmed just reading your schedules. Not just the complexity of the courses - but how things work. I never knew highschool could be so complicated... I don't know if its my school, district, province, or country but stuff is WAY different.

Here, we take between 6-8 credits a year (8 in grade 9 and 10). There are 5 periods a day, and generally speaking you have one spare a day (unless you take less classes). We are semestered so you take 4 courses a semester, and the order alternates every other day. On even number days we have classes 5,4,3,2,1 and vice versa on odd. Pretty straightforward.

Plus our courses are classified as applied or academic. Or college or university. Then theres the open courses in which it doesn't matter where your headed. I think thats understandable. Everything you guys are talking about seems so complicated.

For instance - our grade 12 advanced math is mostly calculus - but its still called grade 12 advanced math. You guys seem to have a lot more cool stuff offered.

Aside from the regular history, english, geography (which is ONLY a grade 9 course unless you take Travel and Tourism) science and math the only cool things we have are law, ancient history, exercise science and like interior and graphic design. Oh and vocals is cool, but not in comparison to all the stuff offered at american schools. Damn new curriculum.
