I show aganist saddleseat horses in my Jr. Exhibitor's hack class, and was wondering what criteria judges hold them up to and what a winning saddleseat horse would typically go like.

well Im no saddleseat expert, but they should move with flair and finesse and look FLASHY! gaits smooth and comfortable, in a frame, high stepping fun!

Five gaited horses show at the walk, trot, and canter, plus the slow gait and rack. They are bigger than the 3-gaiters and much more muscular. They are extremely showy and flashy with lots of action.

yeah but for her showing against saddleseaters, she would only have to worry about the three gaiteds, because when they ask for a walk, I doubt anyone is going to slow rack! :::ohmy.gifr at least I hope!::::
