I show aganist saddleseat horses in my Jr. Exhibitor's hack class, and was wondering what criteria judges hold them up to and what a winning saddleseat horse would typically go like.

Well there are different types of Saddlebreds, like the pleasure, three gaited, and five gaited.
Three gaited horses are slower than the five gaiters. They preform at the walk, trot, and canter-all should be animated. Three gaited horses are flashy yet refined-and should be
Five gaited horses show at the walk, trot, and canter, plus the slow gait and rack. They are bigger than the 3-gaiters and much more muscular. They are extremely showy and flashy with lots of action.

yeah but for her showing against saddleseaters, she would only have to worry about the three gaiteds, because when they ask for a walk, I doubt anyone is going to slow rack! :::

r at least I hope!::::
