I have recently acquired an iPhone. And I bought the first case I ran into that was an appealing color. But I hate it. It attracts every little particle of dust, lint, hay, dirt, hair and other nastiness that seems to exist in every pocket of my clothing. Not being able to put my phone in my pocket is not an option. So I figure I need to get something different, but don't want to be duped again. I have one of those screen shield things so I don't need much protection there, but I want the back/sides safe, and something that will be of some help if I were to drop the phone. And I kind of want a cool color.

Ideas?

My friend HAD to get the "otterbox" for her iphone. And got it in a cool lime green color, and she definitely likes it a lot. Maybe that could be an option?

I have a black Speck case that I like. It's a hard shell on the outside but softer on the inside. I got it at Best Buy.

I have the droid and have the same problem! If anyone knows of any covers that work for the droid let me know, the one I bought from verizon stinks.

I have this one. It's a little pricey, but it has held up really well, and definitely protected my phone the multiple times it gets dropped.

I don't have an iPhone, but I'm a huge fan of those soft gel/silicon covers; I have them for my last three BBs and my iTouch, they're easy to put on and off, and never rips or crack, unlike some of the hard cases I've seen, and protect the phones well too. Anyway, I'm sure they make them for the iphone also.

I have a pink speck case just like that and I love it! I would highly recommend it.

I had this one, and it was great until one of the little side clips where the top joins the bottom cracked and it wouldn't stay together on one side.

I bought my mom the otterbox for her iPhone and it's great because she's really hard on phones, but it seems a little bulky for putting in a pocket in my opinion. It does come with a heavy duty belt clasp.

I like the speck case best because the outside is slick so things don't stick to it, it fits in my pocket, it hasn't broken when I dropped it and it is one piece.

Otterbox all the way!

I'm liking the otterbox...the case I have is silicone and like I said, attracts every bit of crud anywhere near it.

I guess there are different grades of gel/silicon cases, because I've had a few and none ever attract lints or dust or anything, not even the black ones, which is what I have currently on the BB and the itouch.
