Hello, My friend has just gotten a palomino paint. He has points in western pleasure and halter. She has only done hunter/jumpers. We are wanting to get her and him started in the paint circuit doing halter, western pleasure, trail, and english pleasure. She really wants to jump him a little bit but we are far from that. Any information or tips would be great. Thank You

Why would she get a western horse if she's a hunter/jumper? Maybe I don't get it, but shouldn't she do what she wants to do with her horse, rather than let his points dictate what she does?

basically what happened was she didnt like the mare she had, even though she was very very nice mare but she was green, the girl didnt want to put the time into the mare so she traded it for anythign she could get. She got a very nice western horse. So basically she is going to start in the apha world even though she knows nothing about it. and really isnt interested in it at all.

I want to do the APHA stuff but I cant.
