No one told me he had a motorbike phobia so first hack out alone, yours truely hit the deck, and the horse buggered off home.

Cute guy on offending motorcyle gave me a ride back to my yard though!!

Things have improved, but am borrowing best friends hubby and his harley to do some serious motorbike desensitisation at the week end!!

Flat work great and even in open fields he just waits to be told to go, but it seems he has never been hacked out alone much so as I am on my own at my yard, I have no choice other than to get on with it. With 2 horses riding and leading just isn't an option as lanes narrow and lots of farm traffic.

Have bruise size of dinner plate on ass cheek!

Shouldn't that be "arse" or something?

S. It should be my "f***ing arse" but for the sake anglo/american relations I thought ass better!

BTW how's my baby pad coming on? Can you put extra arse padding in, as both my boys seem intent on denting said arse!!

Arse in question is black and blue at the moment!! Modesty forbids a photo, but god I had forgotten how much hitting concrete from 16.3hh hurt!! arrgghh.gif

It's in progress. I got the ribbon and got all ready to do it and then realized that a regular baby pad would be too small under a dressage saddle. I'm ordering a dressage baby pad as soon as I place another order so I can combine shipping. I'll get my arse around to it soon!!!

I have found leeches to be most effective in healing the bruise. Do you find this also to be true?
