Trying to cheer myself up this weekend, so I took slides and digi of my artwork for AP Art. some of these are old, but *shrugs* they're nice. lol. Art critics--have at, I'm tired and need something to distract me.

my submission for this year's COTH jr. art... didn't get it, quite sad, but understandable. shame, though, thought it was quite a change in perspective. And yes, I do have a lot of brushes lol.

old old Swish pastel. did some recent touch ups to repair background and brighten color.

perhaps the hardest thing I have ever painted in my entire life. bleh.

exercise we did to experiment with color and water. 'twas exciting. and enjoyable. And actually quite relaxing, now that I think about it...

completed tempra still life that we did shortly after the other tempra. cool. but I could have killed the freshmen for moving the lighting around.

Andy Warhol. Two different paintings in dif. complementary colors of same pic. Actually turned out pretty close to each other--moreso than I was expecting.

oh and I reccomend you read captions--they'll enlighten you on each piece. enjoy, folks!

ppssssstt. please do. I've actually been comtemplating advertising my services (NOT on the boards), I'm just not entirely sure how to go about doing it. I mean, do you hang flyers at shows or is it better just to get a website? anywho, I did my first sketch in my sketch book. Self portrait, lovely skin, having issues getting a 3-D side element. HOLY SHIT when did it start raining? It's just POURING here. oh wait and theres the thunder oh wow and lightening. Well folks, we finally got some rain here in GA. Glad I rode Swish earlier.
