Lol that was almost me...hehe my trainer looked at me as i went in and informed me if i picked up the wrong lead he'd murder me. So i go in and im trotting down the long side b/c the course started at the far end, soften my hands and go to put max into the canter and i feel him shift over like he was gonna pick up the outside lead. Lol luckily ive owned my horse long enough to feel these things before they happen and fix them....it was a close call though.

ok so most of them have only done 1 aqha show and that was congress last year...but almost all of them made finals or top ten (only two didnt and one was b/c her horse was green...and the other we couldnt figure out why she didnt make finals she had a gorgeous ride)

I schooled in one...but when i went in the show ring i had my old velvet one on b/c i wouldnt know how the judges would feel about them. Plus i painted mine...it was hunter down the middle with two silver stripes on the outside so i was sorta told by my trainer NOT to go in the show ring with it. But yeah i schooled and rode around with my ATH on (Im too poor for a GPA)

I'm not really sure what she meant but I would take it as a compliment.

"becoming an Alisa"....what's that suppose to mean? Is it because he wins a lot? well maybe he wins because he's a...:gasp:....good rider. The same goes for Alisa. Yes, she and Silky are basically perfect but thats because they've become a team and have been together for years. Silky is not a push button horse and Alisa is definitely not just sitting there and doing nothing. She's a great rider. She just bought a 4 year old and brought it to the East Coast in Lexington this year. The very first class she rode in, he dumped her. Did she go crying to her mommy? no. Did she ask her trainer to get on and "fix it"? no. She worked her butt off and progressively got better and better. Now, you talk of Tasha Lodwig as being a fantastic rider. Dont get me wrong, Tasha is a nice person and i'm friends with her, but did you know that pretty much all of her horses are/were made? The one really, really green horse she did have she had it for a few months and then sold it cuz she couldn't ride it that well and she wasn't pinning. Maybe it's because they are two of my closest friends at the horse shows, but Kyle and Alisa are great riders and great people.

I'm sorry if i sound a bit harsh. I dont mean to. I know who you are (and i'm sure you'll eventually figure out who i am too). You are a really nice person so i hope you dont take my venting in the wrong way. i'm just in a venting mood today.
